A Peak Behind the Scenes: How Dunnit?
It is so easy to get bogged down in the myriad small details of life and miss the forests for the trees. We moved into our new home in Mid August and I resettled both home and studio. I am now warming up to painting every day after a long hiatus. But there are still many issues to deal with that affect the way our home can serve us best and it is easy to get sucked into that rabbit hole. That’s why I missed sending out my November Newsletter.
I am now launching my Holiday Campaign and I greatly encourage you to take advantage of it. From now until the end of December 2024 all purchases of paintings from https://fidelabstractoils.com will come with a 30% discount. Any painting, any medium. However, if you love a painting or any other item on my website that is exceeding your budget, please contact me.
I must make room for new work and this is the first time I launch such a campaign. ‘Tis the Season and ’tis a great opportunity to add a special painting to your home and derive pleasure from it for years and years to come – at a whopping 30% discount!
And talking about making room for new work, I was wondering if you would be interested in seeing photos of some of my Work in Progress. I do post those on Instagram and Facebook but always thought that you might prefer to see the final version of a painting.
So I’m taking a chance that you may be interested in the How Dunnit. Your comments will be very helpful.
I am currently working on 2 canvases of sizes that I normally do not work with. And that’s my challenge to myself. Risk-taking is supposed to be “good for the artist”; it helps us grow, increases our self-confidence, strengthens the development of our personal, authentic voice. The subject matter of these canvases is also somewhat of a departure from my usual style, and that’s on purpose. It is an exploration, a gentle step away from the Series I have been working on for the past three years. I have no idea how these will turn out. I just show up and give myself to them every day.

I wish you all a very happy Holiday Season. May your worries melt with the snow, may your joy and peace grow by the day. With or without New Year resolutions, may we all keep growing as human beings and making the world a better place, one day at a time.
Feel free to connect with me if you are interested in taking advantage of this very special, seldom done, discount campaign or for any other reason. (belafidel@gmail.com)
